1Introduction

Thank you for using "Rope Knots — SurvivalRope" (the "App"). The App is a mobile application for learning how to tie ropes and knots through 3D animations.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used. By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.

Last updated: July 31, 2026

2Information we collect

The App itself does not directly collect or store personal information such as your name, email address or location. However, third-party services embedded in the App may automatically collect the following information and transmit it to those service providers.

(1) Collected by the advertising service (Google AdMob)

(2) Collected by usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand which knots are being used and to improve the App, the following anonymous usage logs are transmitted. They contain no information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address.

(3) Communication when downloading additional content

The App may download additional content — data for new knots, and images used for the appearance of the rope — from a distribution server managed by the developer (CloudFront / S3 on Amazon Web Services). As with any normal internet communication, your IP address and user agent (device / OS type) are transmitted to the server. They are used solely to deliver the content and are never used to identify or track you. Nothing other than the content request itself (no browsing history, no favorites) is sent by the App. Downloaded data is stored on your device and remains available offline.

The App has no account registration or sign-in, and no feature that collects personal information you enter. Favorites are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to a server (only the fact that "a favorite was changed" is sent for analytics purposes).

The usage analytics described in (2) can be turned off at any time from Settings → Privacy → "Allow usage analytics" in the App. Once turned off, no further analytics data is transmitted.

3How the information is used

The collected information is used for the following purposes.

The collected information is not used for any purpose other than those listed above.

4Third-party services (ads and analytics)

The App uses the following third-party services. Please review each service's privacy policy.

Service Purpose Privacy policy
Google AdMob
(Google LLC)
Delivery of banner and interstitial ads Google Privacy Policy
Google Analytics for Firebase
(Google LLC)
Analysis of app usage (knots viewed, screen transitions, etc.) How Firebase uses data / Google Privacy Policy
Google Play Services
(Android only)

These services collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data processing carried out by these third parties.

5iOS App Tracking Transparency

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App displays a tracking permission dialog at launch, based on Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

You can change your ATT choice at any time from your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6How to opt out

Stopping usage analytics (in-app setting)

Turning off Settings → Privacy → "Allow usage analytics" in the App stops data from being sent to Google Analytics for Firebase. The setting is stored on your device and can be changed at any time.

Disabling personalized ads

If you wish to disable personalized ads, you can do so as follows.

On Android

On iOS

You can also manage ad personalization from Google's ad settings page (adssettings.google.com).

7Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the address below.

8Data retention

The App itself does not store user data on any server. Favorites and display settings are saved only within your device (the App's local storage) and are erased when the App is deleted.

Data collected and retained by third-party services (Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, etc.) is managed in accordance with each service's privacy policy. The retention period for user-level data in Google Analytics for Firebase is set to 2 months in Google's console (aggregated reports are not subject to this limit).

9Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be changed without prior notice. When there is a significant change, the latest version will be published on this page. We recommend checking it periodically.

If you continue to use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Policy.
